(Lecture)   Introduction to Disaster  Medical  Assistance  Team (DMAT).

          ---   DMAT is  a new rescue system which is generated by Japan Government, and distributes over 90 large scale hospitals

                 in  whole Japan.  The purpose is rapid medical rescue for various types of disasters, such as earthquakes, flood,

                 tsunami, fire,  etc.  The recent sample activity is for a big born earthquake in 2008, China.

different kinds of disasters and health risks, such as earthquake, cyclone, influenza, flood, wind hazard, etc.

 The aim of this sector is real-time delivery of  such a risk information to workplaces, mass media, public sectors. 

This session introduces an outline of their activities with an aspect of risk information and the technology.

          ---   Real-time Earthquake Information System is a new information  technology of earthquake forecasting which is developed  by

Japanese Government taskforce, and distributing over the country.  This system delivers risk information of earthquake

 occurrence several 10 seconds before the happening.  This session overviews this earthquake forecasting system

 and its applications to prevent various accidents at medical facility, home, school, private sector, traffics,  community
